Abstract EN

This Research paper presents a social problem centered on the most important cultural and social factors that cause disability, and the resulting social and economic problems .And many studies have shown that there are several biological phenomena that are greatly affected by various social and cultural factors.

Disability is a phenomenon in which the family suffers independently from the social and cultural context in which it is present.

In this study, we followed the descriptive and analytical approach to suit it and the nature of our study .In light of this, the problem of this study which deals with the phenomenon of disability and its correlation with the effectiveness of the role of social accompaniment in social empowerment for people with special needs in Algerian society comes.

It should be noted that this study was addressed within a theoretical approach, one of the most important socio-anthropological theories contemporary, and explained by many studies of social phenomena, which is the functional theory represented by the theoretical thought of both "Robert Milton" and "Talcott Parsons".
