The fact that the world as a whole has entered a new phase imposed by global changes and the challenges that globalization has brought has had both positive and negative effects on various levels, and has affected all systems and structures of society, including the family and school, those institutions directly responsible for the process of socialization and the shaping of social behavior in accordance with community culture.

Globalization has created new burdens for both the family and the school as well as mechanisms that have helped them performs their roles in accordance with the imperatives of the digital environment and its implications for the educational system, producing a form of modern learning (e-learning).

Accordingly, this paper will highlight the educational role of the family in the face of the challenges it faces in this regard and the need for it to make the best use and benefit of the digital environment and its information revolution.
