Mental disability is one of the most serious childhood problems, due to its multiple aspects.

It is a medical, genetic, psychological, educational, social and legal problem that interferes with each other, along with the need of the mentally handicapped child to care, follow-up and care on the part of the people surrounding him and society.

Autism is considered one of the most common developmental disorders at the present time, which begins its appearance during early childhood, this group suffers from severe deficiencies in social interaction, and the lack of self-care skills, which makes it an urgent need to prepare educational and therapeutic programs appropriate to it, An awareness campaign prepared by civil society and the media in changing the stereotype of society’s view towards autism in order to enable and integrate this group in society, based on the foregoing, this study aims to know the role of the media in educating individuals and society about obstructing autism among the children’s class , And activating the educational and cultural role of the various groups of society, identifying how to integrate autistic children into society, enhancing confidence in themselves and their capabilities through their participation, and psychological and social support for people with the disease and their families.
