Objective of the research is to identify the effect of using of digital images in developing some visual thinking skills of hearing impaired pupils.

, and to achieve this a list of some visual thinking skills has been developed for the hearing impaired pupils, reformulating the unit (the emergence of Islam) using digital images, preparing a teacher guide to teach the unit through digital images, and the visual thinking skills test was prepared, and the semi-experimental curriculum and experimental design with two equal groups were used, The experimental group ( ) students and the control group ( ) students from two schools Hope in two governorates Luxor and Qena , where the measurement tool was applied previously to the two research groups, unit the emergence of Islam was taught to the experimental research group while the control group studied in the usual way, and search tool was applied dimension to the two research groups, the results were monitored and interpreted, the results of the research indicated the effect of the use of digital images in the teaching of social studies on the development some visual thinking skills of hearing impaired pupils.
