English Abstract

Because of the changes imposed by economic globalization, many threats had risen up especially in financial opening up field in global markets.

And the financial corporation became exposed to multiple risks maybe lead to financial performance fail.

And Iraqi insurance market not far away from these international changes especially after lifting the economical siege on Iraq.

Especially the insurance companies because of it has a diversity financial transactions, and own large monetary assets.

And it's should be mentioned that insurance companies has financial short terms liabilities likes (indemnities) should be paid to insured.

Which maybe high because of increase the insured risks occurrence and that probable make these companies face financial risk if it doesn't provided the necessary cash.

And that confirms fact, that financial performance evaluating is necessary procedure to avoid risks in business environment because of its giving the feedback about the company solvency in specific period, therefore many researchers trying to find effective's methods to manage and forecast the financial risk.

In this research applied Sherrod form to financial fail forecasting on sample of general and private insurance companies in Iraqi and exam the financial performance quality from the years 2014 to 2017.

At the end present research, researcher provided a group of recommendations which confirmed that insurance companies should be depended on financial analyzes as a consistent procedure to evaluate financial performance by using quantitative forms to prevent financial risks
