This research dealt with the issue of linguistic error, , from several aspects: idiomatic, pedagogical, Arab linguists understood the issue of linguistic mistake early on, so they denounced it and confronted it, so they authored workbooks that alert to the points of mistake.

Among the terms that were common among the ancient Arin their writings to denote mistakes: correction and distortion, error, omission, slip of the tongue, sloppiness, and delusions.

The error in the pedagogical perspective is one of the means of education, learning and acquisition, and is an important procedural method for building real knowledge, and a natural necessity that cannot be avoided in the field of learning and education.

In the modern era, multiple approaches have appeared for analyzing linguistic mistake, each of which has its own view of linguistic mistake, its ruler objective, its method for analyzing them, and how to reveal the difficulties faced by the language learner, the most important of which are: the contrastive approach and the error analysis approach.
