Abstract EN

In this research we address an important issue in the field of literary theory, which has had a clear prominence in recent times, namely, the issue of the overlap of races and literary genres, especially after most of the races lost their identity due to intercourse, creating a network of metafictional relationships, which prompted the critical vision to open up and focus more on this development.

The novel, thanks to its openness and thanks to the advantages it gained, became the literary genre most capable of assimilating the techniques of other races, so we decided to search for the autobiographical element in the novelistic fiction, as it is the most widespread and the most problematic relationship, knowing that the first is verbal and the second is imaginative.

In this approach, we tried to study the novel (AL-Hajjala) by Fatiha Ahmed Bourouina, relying on the efforts of the author Philip Lejeune to highlight the relationship between the novel as an achievement and the author's biography, and it was concluded that the novel does belong to the autobiographical novel genre.
