Is humor a mark of emancipation?, a question that is the subject of this research.
Since the start of the Hirak, the Algerians have not stopped expressing, with various humorous methods, their refusal of the project of the 5th mandate of Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
Our goal is to highlight these humorous processes and their use in the expression and claim of rights.
Algerian protesters use puns.
In this article, we look at the following forms: polysemy, pun, paronomase, anagram, chiasm, antithesis and metaphor.
These forms that we have identified demonstrate a great willingness of the protesters to draw the attention of the receivers, whether Algerian or foreign, to the legitimacy of their cause and involve them in it.
They serve to create connivance between the speaker and the recipient.
These forms reflect a great skill among Algerian speakers to reclaim the language for militant and emancipator ends, while putting their speech in a playful and humorous setting

L'humour est-il une marque d'émancipation? , une question qui fait l'objet de cette recherche.
Depuis le déclenchement du Hirak, les Algériens n'ont cessé d'exprimer, avec différents procédés humoristiques, leur refus du projet du 5ème mandat d'Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
Notre objectif est de mettre en exergue ces procédés et leur exploitation dans l'expression et la revendication des droits.
Les protestataires algériens recourent au jeu de mots.
Dans cet article, nous nous penchons sur les formes suivantes: la polysémie, le calembour, la paronomase, l'anagramme, le chiasme, l'antithèse et la métaphore.
Ces formes que nous avons repérées témoignent d'une grande volonté de la part des manifestants d'attirer l'attention des destinataires, algériens qu'ils soient ou étrangers, sur la légitimité de leur cause et de les y impliquer.
Elles servent à créer une connivence entre le locuteur et l'allocutaire.
Ces formes reflètent une grande compétence chez les locuteurs algériens à se réapproprier la langue pour des fins militantes et émancipatrices, tout en mettant leur discours dans un cadre ludique et humoristique.
