This article deals with the idea of the maqam context and its effect on directing the discourse, and applied that to the holy Quran through verses from Surat " HOOD " peace be upon him, by mentioning different models of the types of Quranic discourse, showing haw the maqam affects directing the signification towards a specific meaning, and knowing what it is doing The maqamic context in the interpretation of the Noble Quran in particular, and the discourse in general, and before that there was an approach to the concept of context, and the maqam context defined language and idiom, an explanation of the importance of the maqam in directing the discourse, as well as the elements of the semantic Context, this research was concluded with the most important results.
