Abstract EN

This article aims to highlight the great importance to adopt an efficiency legislative framework inspired from Malaysian experience in view to promote the Islamic Banks activities in Algeria.

Indeed, the Islamic banks are not operating normally and government targets are far from being achieved.

It should be noted that the promotion of Islamic bancs activities require the implementation of suitable legislative framework adapted to Algerian context.

To do it, the Malaysian experience could be considered as a good experience which permits to get lessons in view to adapt for the Algerian context.

The successful and the performance of the Malaysian financial system, based on the twinning between the classic banks and the Islamic banks, are the result of the government support to Islamic banks through the permanent adaptation and renewal continually the regulatory framework and control mechanisms
