The successive and rapid changes that societies have experienced in various fields have positively influenced patterns of behaviour in accordance with the expectations of society or negatively in contravention of society's standards, most notably criminal behaviour, which has developed and developed in form and content in parallel with the transformations in the world and emerged new criminal phenomena.

The research aims to uncover the relationship between social change and crime by identifying the impact of social and cultural transformations on types of crime.
