Abstract EN

Objective: The study aimed to identify the impact of the Corona pandemic on theft crimes in Palestinian society, as this was identified through two axes, the first related to the impact of the Corona pandemic on theft crimes during the crisis, and the second axis related to the impact of the Corona pandemic on theft crimes after the crisis.

Methods: The researcher used in his study the analytical method based on analyzing the literature and scientific theories related to the impact of crises and calamities on theft crimes.

Results: Theft crimes decreased in the Palestinian society during the Corona pandemic, while theft crimes in the Palestinian community will increase after the end of the crisis, and the study recommends a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is the need for the Palestinian legislator to increase the punishment for theft crimes after the end of the Corona pandemic period for a period of six months until it stabilizes Economic conditions in Palestine, as the study recommends that the security spread increase after the end of the Corona case at the same degree and level as it is spread during the declaration of the state of emergency and the deputy that afflicts the community.

Conclusion: thieves on vacation during the spread of the Corona epidemic will return to work intensively after the crisis ends like all other workers.
