Abstract EN

In the beginning of May 1945, Algeria was subjected to a strong French military aggression followed by a number of arbitrary arrests and trials, in which contribute all French army forces, it was the top of ferocity, it resulted in thousands of victims.

In the end of the same month, Syrian people was subjected to similary French aggression by striking and destroying the headquarters of the Syrian Parliament in Damascus, the attack resulted in hundreds of dead, wounded and prisoners.

Although the dramatic results of aggression, in the other side it was a fertile subject for the writers and poets of the two countries who describes the events and their repercussions.

I will deal with the events according to a historical and descriptive approach that highlights the ugliness of what happened and what the sores were inspired by the pain that resulted from them.
