This study aims to examine the barriers to the political participation of Arab women, which are common among Arab countries, although there is some disparity in the degree of their impact on each country.

The study also aims to present some proposals to activate the political participation of Arab women, especially proposals of a legislative nature The research concluded that Arab states have made many formal and informal legislative and institutional efforts to develop women's political participation, but the results achieved have not been as much as expected, yet efforts are continuing to activate the political participation of Arab women, with various measures and actions
