قراءة أبوكاليبتية لقصيدة نزارية : "دكتوراه شرف في حجر الكيمياء"

“For many years, the Jewish people would suffer terrible persecutions until they would finally be able to return home and establish the State of Israel promised by God”.

With the awareness of the well-educated poet, Nizar Qabbani, of the emotional game played by the Zionists Jews to achieve political gains in the Middle East, Qabbani strove to grasp the threads of political ploy of the Zionist salvation and created from it a poetic discourse based on a "counter" religious myth.

The main themes of the Qabbani's counter myth are based on opposing the Israel's claims of the Promised Land.

The paper main argument is that Qabbani was successful in composing a poem of anti-Zionists themes in which he attempts to creats the Nizarian equivalent to the Zionest's version of the Messianism that dominated the world for cencuries and seemed to be the most vital elemnt in validating the Jews' right to wage war against the Palestinians.

The aim of the paper, thus, is to demonstrate how the representations of principal motifs regarding the Messiah found in the Zionest version have been evolved in the Nizarian version in favor of the Palestinian case.
