This research dealt with the reality of human development in Iraq, with its industrial and agricultural aspects, stressing that it is not possible to separate them, as they complement each other.

He also discussed the strategy of linking them to advance the Iraqi development reality.

It also dealt with the participation of individuals - especially the marginalized groups - in the development process, and not only being the groups that the development process targets and works for.

On the other hand, the research dealt with the relationship between democracy and human development, and which of them has priority over the other.

The research also addressed new actors in the human development process and their role in achieving what this process requires, stressing that the most important actors today are civil society and the private sector.

It also touched on the requirements of good governance in the human development process on the one hand, and the influence of elite interests on national development projects and plans on the other.

Finally, what is the role of the state in protecting society and proceeding with the reform process.
