تبحث هذه الدراسة في طبيعة العلاقة بين آلهة الأقزام المصرية و عبادة الشمس و كذلك آلهة الشمس في مصر القديمة.
و قد كان هناك نوعان من الأقزام في مصر القديمة وهم الأقزام الأفارقة و الأقزام المصريين.
و قد ارتبطت الآلهة الأقزام بالعديد من آلهة الشمس بأشكال و طرق مختلفة على سبيل المثال الإله خبري.
نجد أنه بداية من عصر الدولة الحديثة بدأت الآلهة الأقزام في الظهور و الانتشار و أشهر هذه الآلهة على الإطلاق هو الإله بس و الإله بتاح بتايكوس و الذي ارتبط بالعديد من الممارسات و الأعمال السحرية و التي تعمل على حماية الأحياء و الأموات على حد سواء.
و تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة سبب هذا الارتباط بين الآلهة الأقزام و آلهة و عبادة الشمس من خلال فحص و تحليل النصوص الدينية للمصري القديم و كذلك تماثيل تلك الآلهة الأقزام و التي ظهرت بكثرة في مصر القديمة خاصة في عصر الدولة الحديثة.
أما عن النتيجة التي توصلت إليها هذه الدراسة هي أن هذه الآلهة الأقزام قد ارتبطت بآلهة و عبادة الشمس كرمز من رموز التجديد و التجدد و اعادة الولادة.
Abstract EN
This study examines the natural relationship between the Ancient Egyptian dwarf gods and the Solar Cult and the solar deities in ancient Egypt.
There were two kinds of dwarfs known in ancient Egypt; The African pygmies and the Egyptian dwarfs.
The dwarf deities were associated with many of the solar deities in different forms like khepri.
From the New Kingdom onward, the dwarfs emerge as popular deities, best known in their forms of Bes and Path-Pataikoi, who are invoked in a host of magical practices to protect the living and the dead.
This study aims to find the reason for this association between the dwarf gods and the solar deities by examining the ancient Egyptian religious text and the statuary of those dwarf deities.
The result that the study reaches is that the dwarf deities associated with the solar deities as a symbol of regeneration and rejuvenation and rebirth.
