When we think about making the desert which constitutes the majority of Algerian lands, a suitable ground to accommodate urban expansion this is only done by studing the features the desert environment as well as studing what is appropriaite for that environment is terms of urban patterns suitable for life in desert areas.

therfore this resarch aimes to study the legal provisions contained in executive Decree 14/27 no of 1st february which is considered the first regulatory text that defines the rules governinig the specificity of construction in these areas by analyzing and determininig the urban.
