This research deals with how to manage risks in a company that suffers from financial difficulties, where the company cannot achieve revenues or income because it is unable to fulfill its financial obligations or cannot pay them.

This is generally due to higher fixed expenses (such as overheads or salaries), illiquid assets, or recession-sensitive revenues.
