Islamic philosophical thought abounds in many intellectual and philosophical endeavors that have contributed to the enrichment of human thought the most prominent of which is the efforts and contributions of the Hujjat al-Islam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, the latter who enriched the Arab library with a number of classifications in various intellectual and philosophical fields, which greatly influenced Arab philosophical thought and western.

this article is intended to know the intellectual and philosophical efforts of Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, and to explain their intellectual impact on subsequent philosophical experiments, in particular, according to the Moroccan ethics philosopher taha Abdurrahman and the father of modern philosophy René Descartes.
