Abstract EN

This study deals with one of the blogs of the scholars of the city of Mostaghanem during the colonial period, Sheikh Mustafa bin Qarah al-Mostaghanemi, an answer to the question of Sheikh Bin Ouda Bin Ismail about a Sufi issue concerning the Rod of Tijani Way.

It is an issue where scientists have disagreed both old and new.

This document is an important source that removes much confusion about many of the mystical(soufi's) issues that were in circulation at the time.

The character of Sheikh Mustafa bin Qarah al-Mostaghanemi, through this letter, suggests the genius of the man and the wealth of his knowledge in several sciences, and demonstrates his ability to learn by relying on evidence to clarify that issue.

This study attempted to make known the literature of letters, which was common among Maghrebin scientists in general and Algerian scholars in particular during the late nineteenth century, especially those relating to sculpture issues, which were popular in that period.

This kind of message contains valuable information from researchers and historians alike, and it reveals to us the true picture of that knowledge and science that these scientists had.
