Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the position of the professor of physical and sports education in Algerian society and its social and economic conditions, the conditions in which he performs his work, and to know the extent of his preparations and abilities, the extent of his adaptation to the teaching profession and his acceptance of it and the extent of commitment to it, and to reveal the relationship between job commitment and psychological pressures.

we used the descriptive correlative approach to reach the research hypotheses, which included the presence of a degree of functional commitment among teachers of physical education and sports, and the sample of the research was (25 professors) and we relied on two measurement tools (functional commitment and psychological stress) and we used the Pearson correlation coefficient and student's t for one sample in statistical analysis.
