This study aimed to identify the effect of job performance on psychological stress for heads of departments of institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities.

The descriptive approach was used, and we used in the study the job performance questionnaire, and the psychological stress scale on an intentional sample that included 28 department heads, and the results came to: -Good job performance increases the effectiveness of department heads.
