Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the Saudi method of moderation and to clarify the strategy adopted via the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to counterterrorism.

Then to devise the features of the Saudi strategy for countering terrorism* which can distinguish the Kingdom from other means and strategies of confrontation.

The researcher used a descriptive approach and reached several results.

The most important results are the Kingdom's strategy to confront terrorism is parallel with the purposes of Islamic law.

And its provisions are committed to the principle of moderation as a consistent approach practiced by all state institutions* and that achieving and maintaining national security in all its components is a legitimate requirement that includes criminal security represented in the security of the five necessities.

Moreover* the national security represented in state security against internal and external threats.

Despite the difficulties and obstacles facing the mentoring programs in facing deviant thinkers* their positive effects are tangible and clear.

Among the most important features of Saudi moderation* the approach is a straightforward* comprehensive* integrated Islamic approach* a discreet logical approach* a scientific approach* and a realistic approach.

The researcher recommended activating the role of educational and media institutions and employing them to document and deepen the citizen's relationship with the homeland and the guardianship.

The role of the media and educational institutions* to focus on the efforts made in the field of combating terrorism and extremism* and to adopt the subject of political education* and activate it.
