The behavioral counseling practices of the instructors of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Guidance from the viewpoint of their students are very important for their students, especially at the university level where the student learns from the teachers how to make a decision and also enjoy a kind of autonomy away from the influence of the family and parent’s atmosphere, especially at the university level .

So that he learns how to deal with situations in his life and in all fields, and since the teaching section at the university is one of the most important groups in society and they are active elements that help their students in improving the reality in which they live.

Thus, the aim of the current research is to identify behavioral practices of instructors in psychological counseling and educational guidance department from the point of view their students in the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University.

Nevertheless, the research sample consists of (250) male and female students from the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, from the morning and evening studies.

However, the questionnaire is used as a research tool after ascertaining its validity and reliability.

The current research has arrived at : 1- Instructors of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance practicing their behavioral and counseling tasks in the educational, scientific and social field in general.

2- They should make more efforts in some areas of practices in the educational field.

Among the recommendation of the research are: 1- Establishing training courses and programs in universities that work to organize counseling and behavioral practices.

2- It is necessary for the teaching staff to perform the counseling tasks, especially the counseling and behavioral practices, and generalize them to most of the university teaching staff, and adopt them in evaluating the performance of the instructors.

From another point of view, the researcher suggests conducting similar studies on other samples and other variables.
