The current research deals with the topic (cognitive schemes for educational counselors), as the current research aimed to identify the level of cognitive schemes of educational counselors and educational guides, where the researcher defined cognitive schemes as (the extent of mental activation that allows dealing with a huge amount of information at the time of exposure to a stimulus.

Or a situation in which the behavioral components that make it interconnected; can not be employed in certain situations).

Thus, the current research sample consisted of (300) educational counselors and mentors for the directorates of education in the governorate of Baghdad for the academic year ((2017-2018), and the cognitive schemes scale prepared by the researcher for this purpose was used after she presented it to a group of experts and referees and extracted his psychometric characteristics.

The researcher used statistical methods, so that the results of the research were extracted, so that a number of recommendations and proposals were developed
