Abstract EN

The current research to find out: 1- the level of psychological resilience towards solving complex problems among school principals.

2- Differences in psychological resilience towards solving complex problems according to the gender variable(male-femle).

In order to achieve the goals ,a sample of (100) principals from the directorates belonging to the General directorate of Education in the holy Karbala governorate was chosen , in a stratified random manner with a proportional distribution , with (59) principals and (41) principals, the researcher built a psychological resilience scale according to the theory of Richardson (2002) ,and after analyzing the items statistically and verifying the characteristics of the psychometric scale represented by the validity and stability of the scale ,since validity was extracted by the method of apparent honesty and construction validity ,while stability was extracted by the test-retest method and the facronbach equation ,then the scale was applied to the specific sample of the research, and by using statistical means commensurate with the research data, the following results were reached: 1- The existence of a level of psychological resilience towards solving complex problems among school principals.

2- There were differences between school principals in the level of psychological resilience towards solving complex problems and in favor of males.

In light of the results a set of relevant proposals and recommendations were developed.
