Moral exclusion occurs when an individual’s behavior is not identical to others due to his feelings of dissatisfaction with them and his fear of undesirable behaviors, and this difference will make the individual view others as harmful people and a source of inconvenience, as they are seen as consumers and there is no need for their existence and they are outside the limits to which moral values apply to them And social norms.

And moral exclusion rejects negative behaviors harmful to society that lead to the disruption of human relations, especially extremist ideas, which have become one of the most important psychological problems that surround the societies of the world in general.

Especially when some people now give justification to extremism, extremism and exaggeration in religious matters to a degree that exceeds the level of moderation, by departing from tolerant religious teachings and intolerance of opinion, and accordingly, their expulsion and neglect is the most appropriate method with them, especially if they have extremist tendencies that have become one of the dangerous psychological and social phenomena spread in all Arab and Western societies, and what made matters worse in this phenomenon when some people became justification for extremism, which results in terrorist behavior, and the consequent intimidation and damage to property.

Therefore, the current research aimed to identify: 1- Moral exclusion among university students.

2- The trend towards extremism among university students 3- The correlation between moral exclusion and the trend towards extremism among university students.

4- The difference in the correlation between the moral exclusion and the trend towards extremism among university students according to the variables of gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific-human) and the research is determined by the students of the College of Education in Al-Mustansiriya University morning study both male and female and human scientific specialization for the academic year (2019-2020).
