English Abstract

The research aims to study electronic incitement in social media by tracking some Iraqi groups on Facebook, and analyzing the content of the written and visual materials by adopting the topic and the idea as a unit of analysis.

To achieve the research goal, the researcher prepared a tool for content analysis.

After unpacking and processing the data, the research showed several results : The amount of incitement that the recipient is exposed to may reach up to (15) posts per day, in case he joined only one group, and that the most prevalent categories of incitement is the category of derogation of the other party, as it came first.

The results showed that males are more likely to post incitements than females, and that bachelors, males or females, are more likely to post incitements than married people.
