English Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of teaching according to STEM activities on reflective thinking of first-grade intermediate students in science, compared to the regular method, and to achieve the goal of the research, the two researchers adopted the quasi-experimental design with partial control, and the research sample was intentionally chosen, as the research sample reached (77) A student, and they were distributed randomly to the two research groups, and the two researchers rewarded the two research groups in the variables (chronological age in months, intelligence, testing of previous information for the science subject, and the reflective thinking scale), and the reflective thinking scale was prepared and it consisted of (30) paragraphs, and it was verified.

From charity and steadfastness after presenting it to a group of arbitrators, andafter that it was applied to the two research groups, and the data were analyzed and statistically processed by the adoption of the statistical program (SPSS) and the results indicated that there is an effect of STEM activities on reflective thinking in the science subject of the first grade intermediate students in favor of the experimental group, and accordingly The researchers presented a number of recommendations and proposals .
