Abstract EN

This study dealt with shedding light on the most important societal determinants related to women's unemployment in Egyptian society in the period from the January 25 revolution to the end of 2019, and the study posed a set of questions that in their entirety revolved around a limited number of those determinants crystallized through the following questions: What The most important characteristics of unemployed people in the research community? , And what is the role of the educational system in determining the problem of women's unemployment in the research community? Wha is the role of the labor market in defining the problem of women's unemployment in the research community? What is the role of socio-cultural factors in shaping women's unemployment in the research community ? The researcher used the social survey method in the sample, and also used the questionnaire form, and the field study was applied to a sample of unemployed women from Mansoura, one of its villages, the Sinbillawain Center, and one of its villages.

The study concluded a number of results, the most important of which are : • There are ten variables related to the educational system in relation to the problem of unemployment among members of the research sample, the most important of which is that scientific specialization is not required in the labor market, followed by the private variable that what the members of the sample have learned is not very beneficial in obtaining a job opportunity .

• There are a number of important variables in the context of talking about the relationship between the labor market and women's unemployment in the research community.

The foremost of these variables is the lack of employment opportunities in the area of residence of the individuals in the research sample, followed by the variable on the difficulty of obtaining a government job opportunity .

• The most important socio-cultural reasons for women's unemployment are employers' preference for male employment, but not for females, followed in the second order by the reason related to the role of customs in limiting women's work, followed by the reason associated with the widespread belief that the home is the natural place for women .
