The research aims at identifying the effectiveness of a proposed program based on simulations in the development of Reflective thinking among sixth graders in mathematics In order to achieve the research objective, the researcher developed several basic and secondary hypotheses that were compared between the mean of the experimental and control groups.

The experimental method was used for the purpose of achieving the objective of the research and its hypotheses.

The experimental semi-experimental design was chosen with partial control of the experimental and prescriptive experimental and control groups.

The experimental group studied according to the proposed tutorial based on the simulations while the control group studied according to the usual method.

The research sample was composed of (73) students and students of the sixth grade primary school in one of the primary schools belonging to the Directorate of Education Baghdad Al-Karkh II for the academic year 2018-2019, the educational program was built according to the simulations and applied to the research sample, the two research groups were rewarded in a number of variables (The previous collection and intelligence and testing of previous knowledge and the test of Reflective thinking) The research tool was also designed to test the Reflective thinking of the thematic type (multiple choice) of 20 (paragraph), after verifying the validity and stability, and used the researcher several statistical means in the processing of data m The results of the proposed program based on the simulations in the development of Reflective thinking of the sixth grade students in mathematics, and in the light of the results reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
