The current research aims to measure the level of sympathy for university students, and are there any significant differences of statistical significance according to the sympathy variable among university students according to the gender variable (male and female)? In order to achieve the goals of the current research, the researcher followed the following steps - 9 The researcher adopted the sympathy scale prepared by (Al-Rubaie 2001), as the number of its final paragraphs reached (32) items, and its psychological characteristics were confirmed and the tool was applied to a sample of (140) students who were randomly chosen stratified from four colleges at the University of Baghdad for the year Academic 2018-2019 and the following search results showed, The research sample of university students enjoys a good level of sympathy, Females are more sympathetic than males.
