English Abstract

The objective of the current research is to identify the evaluation of the performance of educational counselors from the point of view of secondary school administrators in Baghdad governorate and within the General Directorate of education of Rusafa II, Where the research sample consisted of ( 252) male and female secondary school principals and ( 126) female, the researcher also built a research tool, which is to identify the evaluation psychometric and through honesty and fortitude .

The results showed statistically significant differences in the views of secondary school principals on the performance of instructional counselors in their schools .

The results also showed that counselors received an average evaluation by their principals that mean their performance did not live up to what was required.

The results showed that there were no differences between the responses of the principals in terms of gender (Male – Female ) and that there were statistically significant differences in terms of the impact of experience on performance evaluation it clearly tends not to influence the experiencle variale in this evaluation because the common attitude towards the educational counselors.
