The science of wound and modification is one of the most important sciences of hadith, and it is not correct and weak, but one of them is complementary to the other, and that is why a few scholars fought it out, because speaking about the narrators and judging them is a great trust.

Imam Uthman bin Abi Shaybah al-Kufi (239 AH) among those who confronted this science and emerged in it.

The choice was in studying his rulings was on the narrators through the book References to the Scholars and Critics of Hadith” by Omar bin Shaheen.

The research studies and compares Shaheen's book with the sayings of the imams and discuss them, then explains the most correct ruling after that.

It is found that Ibn Abi Shaybah had spoken about eight narrators.

So we made an easy translation for each narrator, and Ibn Abi Shaybah's saying alongside the sayings of the imams.

The nature of the research was to make a simple introduction, then an introduction and then the investigations, which amounted to eight sections, then the conclusion and the most prominent results and the most important sources and references.
