Abstract EN

The basic motivation of the present work is to apply the Predictor-Corrector [type 2] algorithm to perform the steps in Newton's and modified Newton's methods for approximating the solution of nonlinear equation of single diode model for a solar cell.

A simple starting point for the iterative solutions is proposed.

Some numerical applications are depicted and show that eight iterations are required to acquire approximate solutions, which are found to be sufficient, accurate, and efficient.
