Abstract EN

Intertextuality is a modern terminology, As it formed a stylistic artistic phenomenon that imposed itself on the western and Arab scene strongly, It is the interaction of the new creative text with the previous text, so that the productive process yields texts worthy of controversy , So it achieves creative aesthetic value in the literary text, Which I will study in the poetry of Abu Maatooq Shihab al-Din bin Ahmed al-Musawi al-Huwaizi, a poet of the eleventh century AH, born in (1025 AH - 1616 CE) in Hawiza, and died in (1078 A.H - 1676 C.E).

Much of his poetry was mocked at the praise of the radiant princes, However, he influenced Ali Khan from them in relation to most of his poetry until some researchers considered him the poet of the emirate, as he vowed his poetry to defend their right to rule by their affiliation to the family of the household, peace be upon them.

In this research, we seek to monitor the types of intertextuality in Abu Maatouk's poetry,The most prominent mechanisms that he employed in his texts are rumination, absorption and dialogue.He drew pictures that were not without novelty and creativity, which achieved semantic purposes that the poet sought to communicate to the recipient.
