And the importance of the study comes from knowing and studying the most important obstacles facing wheat cultivation in Iraq, which led to a clear deficiency in the production system with this crop despite the availability of a suitable environment for cultivation and the availability of all production requirements.

In addition to the government support provided by the state through the minimum policy for determining the price of this crop.

The research relied on the hypothesis that the price of wheat was not subject to the laws of demand and supply determined by the market due to the state's interference and control over price fixing.
