Abstract EN

The study aimed to develop a proposal for building an educational unit of digital citizenship in computer and information technology course for high school students (the joint program) in light of John Kerr's model.

To achieve this goal, the study followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

The designed tool for the study a form that shows the axes between the learning experiences of digital citizenship, required for secondary school students.

Its apparent validity was verified, and from which the axes of learning experiences needed to be provided to students of secondary education (the joint program) of digital citizenship were presented.

One of the most important results of the study was that it presented the proposed vision of initiating the "digital citizenship" unit in computer and information technology course for high school students (the joint program) in light of John Kerr's model.

The study urged casting more concentration on the topic of digital citizenship.

In addition, the study urged adopting the approaches of digital citizenship that utilize John Kerr's model.
