Abstract EN

The research aims to use the financial failure prediction model according to (Altman) model on a sample of the industrial and joint-stock companies operating in the Iraq Stock Exchange to know the future possibility of those companies in the extent of their success or failure.

The research problem lies in the failure to use modern mathematical models to predict financial failure in Iraq, despite the availability of a number of models Sufficient for conventional financial analysis.

The research has found the possibility of determining the success or failure of the company through the mathematical model to assist companies management to make the necessary corrections
