which borrowed and developed some of its major ideas from Greek philosophy.

The Islamic philosopher al-Farabi or Alpharabius as he is also known in the West was one of the most prominent Islamic philosophers who meticulously studied this issue.

It is unambiguously noticeable in his studies of logic ethics and politics as well as his study of the human soul and human happiness and misery.
