Abstract EN

The research aims to diagnose the difficulties of teaching human geography for the literary sixth grade from the point of view of the subject teachers.

The researcher followed the descriptive approach and use educational survey.

The research population consisted of geography teachers for the literary sixth grade in Baghdad governorate for the academic year (2019-2018).

The research sample was simple random consisted of (311) of geography teachers.

The questionnaire is the tool prepared by the researcher to collect information and consisted of (90) difficulties distributed into nine areas.

The researcher applied the tool after making sure of its validity and reliability.

The results showed that there are difficulties in teaching human geography which reached (60) difficulty.

In the light of the results, the researcher recommended several recommendations, one of them is to address the phenomena of overcrowding in the number of students in the classroom.

Then several proposals for the conduct of studies studied.
