There is no doubt that the places of worship are one of the most important pillars of the religious identity of every religion, and on this basis Muslims paid great attention to the mosque, not only because it was a place of worship, but because it is the first institution in the Islamic community from which all other institutions were launched, and the endowments were essential support for this institution that is still performing Its message ably, and the devotional endowments reflected the interest of a large segment of the Mosul community in the endowments as a whole and the religious ones in particular, which contributed to drawing a clear picture that highlighted the attachment of the people of this community to their true religion, which was reflected in their practical application of the teachings of this religion - and the matter related to the subject of study - from During the building and restoration of mosques, spending on them, and endowments for them to help them continue to fulfill their noble mission.
