Rather, it is a cumulative problem for previous periods of time as a result of the imbalance of population growth with housing development for a number of reasons related to both sides of the equation, meaning that the problem is related to the rapid population growth and the nature of the housing development policies followed, as for the overlap of demographic characteristics, the research has shown that the crisis It has become a complex problem and it is increasing in complexity under the useless classical treatments, in addition to the traditional problem represented by the rapid population growth resulting from natural increase and migration, but there is also a demographic change in the standard of living in the city of Mosul represented by the change in the rate of the size of families, which decreased as a result of the disintegration of large families.

Which used to live in the style of a housing unit with a large area and a large number of rooms, and as a result of the societal development of the city's residents, which aims for early independence from the mother's family, and with this the number of independent families increased, but there was no community development treatment supported by spatial population development, but the movement was on the personal level.
