The current research aims to identify: 1.
Adolescents' addiction to electronic games.
2.
The tendency towards delinquency among adolescents.
3.
The causal correlation between addiction to electronic games and the tendency towards delinquency.
Two measures were built, one to measure the level of addiction to electronic games and the other to measure the tendency towards delinquency.
They were applied on a sample of (100) adolescents in Baghdad, who were selected randomly.
The results of the research showed that electronic games are widespread among adolescents, especially at the age of (12 and 13) years.
The results also showed that there is a high degree of tendency towards delinquency in adolescents, and there is a causal relationship with significant significant between addiction and propensity.
Based on the results, a set of recommendations and a set of proposals were formulated.
