The incident of Iraq's occupation of Kuwait was a fatal blow to Arab, regional and international relations at all levels, as that occupation was not a regional event of limited impact but rather extended to other countries because it directly affected the movement of oil in the global economy, and thus the results of that occupation It has gone beyond the borders of the region to enter into big calculations, as these large countries had dealt with the issue decisively and expelled Iraq from Kuwait with force and speed, and one of the reasons for the collapse of the Iraqi military force was that it underestimated the capabilities of the United States and allied countries.

The Iraqi authority made a mistake when it wagered on the sympathy of the Arab peoples with it in the occupation of Kuwait.
