Abstract EN

This study aimed to recognize the extent of the availability of the dimensions of market knowledge in tourism agencies in the state of Annaba.

The study population consists of (49) agency in this state.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used for data collection, data analysis, and tasting hypotheses; a questionnaire was used to collect information about study variables, addressed to the managers (or equivalent) who were instructed to fill out the questionnaire themselves or give it to a suitable person within the agency.

The researcher received 52 completed questionnaires from the 80’s distributed ones.

A number of statistical tools and methods were used like Cranach alpha to ensure stability, duplicates and percentages to describe the variables of the study, mean, and Kruskal Wallis analysis…etc, data were analyzed using SPSS21.

The results revealed that the degree of the availability of the dimensions of market knowledge in tourism agencies is very high; the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the sample responses towards the availability of the dimensions of market knowledge due to Personal characteristics The study made some recommendations regarding the necessity to pay attention to competitors’ knowledge.
