Abstract EN
Britain's 1947 division of the Indian subcontinent was on religious grounds.
A reason for the occurrence of several wars between India and Pakistan, which began in 1948 and then in 1965, and the main factor that caused the continuous clash between the two countries was the Kashmir problem.
In 1971, civil war broke out in Pakistan, specifically West Pakistan and East Pakistan, and thus India intervened in the interest of Pakistan.
And it contributed to the emergence of a new state in the Indian subcontinent, known as the State of Bangladesh.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the main supporter of Pakistan due to the religious similarity and Western orientation, and thus it consistently condemned the massacres committed by the Indians in Kashmir, and sent many aid to Kashmir, and supported its cause in many local and international organizations, especially the Organization of the Islamic World Conference and the United Nations, as it condemned the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia and the intensity of Indian intervention in Pakistan's internal problems promised it a blatant interference in Pakistani affairs, which ultimately led to the emergence of the state of Bangladesh, and Pakistan supported dialogue with Bangladesh and good neighborliness.
