In researching the planning and architecture of the shrine of Ali al-Sharqi in Maysan Governorate in Iraq, we deal with the historical, architectural and decorative aspect of the shrine as it represents one of the important religious buildings in southern Iraq, which sheds light on the clear harmony between the architectural and decorative elements and the function of each, with the role and impact of these religious buildings on The life of the Iraqi society, and the research was divided into main headings represented the introduction, the name and the location, a historical overview, the building units, the architectural and decorative elements, the writings in the shrine, with appendices that included a map of Maysan governorate, and a plan of the shrine, with a set of pictures that illustrate the architectural and decorative elements To the shrine.
