This study aims at studying the argument of Qur'anic quotation in Ahmad Bin Yousif's Thanks Letter and examining its persuasive dimensions, semantic shades, and aesthetic devices, drawing on the pragmatic approach to discover its rhetorical forms, linguistic devices, and speech acts that are used for affecting and persuading the addressee through the letter discourse, and to stand on the aesthetics of Qur'anic quotation usage, its argumentative aspects, discourse positions, and impact on the creation of the writing and its role in developing prose styles.

Its theoretical part includes an introduction to the author and his creative experience, the concept of letters in Arab heritage, and the important pillars the Thanks Letter is built upon.
